Rep. Sam Farr Won’t Seek Re-election in 2016

Rep. Sam Farr today said he will not seek re-election in 2016. The 11-term Democrat represents a safe district on California’s central coast.

“Next March, I will not file for re-election,” Farr said at a televised news conference in Salinas, Calif. “I will continue to serve out this term, which will end in January of 2017.”
