President Obama during a news conference with French President François Hollande Tuesday said that the upcoming climate talks in Paris will be a rebuke to terrorists.
Hollande was at the White House to discuss ISIL terrorism following attacks in Paris earlier this month.
“What a powerful rebuke to the terrorists it will be when the world stands as one and shows that we will not be deterred from building a better future for our children,” Obama said in a statement. “Let’s remember we face greater threats to our way of life.”
The climate talks will start on Nov. 30 in Paris.
