Following the Iowa caucuses, former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg of Indiana saw a 4-point increase in name recognition and a 9-point increase in his net favorability, to +42, which puts him in line with most of the other top-polling candidates: Former Vice President Joe Biden at +43, and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts at +41 each. Buttigieg’s name recognition grew by 4 points, to 89 percent of voters. The former Indiana mayor still trails Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont -- who is at +53 among Democratic primary voters and won the most votes in Iowa -- by double digits.
Morning Consult’s latest results are based on 36,180 surveys with registered voters, including 15,346 surveys with Democratic primary voters, conducted Feb. 4-9, 2020.
