  • McDonald’s Corp. is dropping its “signature crafted” hamburgers from menus two years after their debut because the customizable burgers slowed operations and increased wait times. The fast-food giant, which reports first quarter earnings on April 30, will refocus efforts on its standard quarter-pounder burgers as it has lost traffic amid the growing market share of burger joints like Five Guys and Shake Shack.
