Kyncl will be tasked with negotiating the best deals for its top artists, including Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars, and expanding the company’s digital footprint. (Bloomberg)
  • Amazon.com Inc.’s Twitch announced it is reducing payments for many of its biggest streamers from 70% of subscription revenue to 50% in some cases. The decision comes as Twitch loses some of its popular streamers to exclusive deals with rival YouTube. (The New York Times)
  • “James Bond” producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are currently searching for the next actor to play agent 007, the two confirmed to Variety. Broccoli and Wilson said whoever becomes the next Bond will need to agree to a 10- to 12-year commitment to the role, while actor Idris Elba has apparently taken himself out of the running.
