- The Senate voted 71-23 to approve a $1.4 trillion spending bill that includes a $6 billion pension package for retired coal miners and increased funding levels for the Environmental Protection Agency and renewable energy programs. - The Trump administration said it will set biofuel blending quotas at 20.09 billion gallons in 2020, up from 19.92 billion gallons in 2019 and mostly in line with the volumes it proposed earlier this year. The EPA estimates that the quotas will result in the net blending of 15 billion gallons of conventional biofuels into gasoline, after small refinery waivers are granted. (Bloomberg)
