  • Fresh off another handful of blowouts in the Democratic presidential race, a new poll finds former Vice President Joe Biden leading Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) by 24 percentage points among Democratic primary voters nationwide.   • Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) canceled the Senate’s recess scheduled for next week. The decision comes as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin work to complete negotiations on an aid package designed to curb the economic and public health effects of the coronavirus pandemic, which Pelosi planned to bring to the floor today.   • The Democratic National Committee announced that it is moving Sunday’s Democratic presidential debate from Phoenix to Washington, D.C., in order to mitigate coronavirus risks. In addition, the DNC said Jorge Ramos, a Univision anchor who was set to feature as a moderator, will no longer participate after coming in direct contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, with the network’s Ilia Calderón stepping in to take his place.
