  • Following a well-known software developer’s complaints of gender discrimination, New York state regulators said they are investigating the algorithm used by Apple Card that determine applicants’ creditworthiness. A representative from the Goldman Sachs Group Inc., which partners with Apple Inc.’s in its new credit card, said creditworthiness is not decided on factors such as gender, race, age or sexual orientation.   • WeWork is in talks with T-Mobile US Inc. CEO John Legere to take over the troubled startup, according to people familiar with the matter, in addition to other potential candidates, with the hope of having a new leader in place as soon as January. However, Legere, who is known for his unconventional, combative leadership style, would stand to financially benefit if he sees through T-Mobile’s acquisition of Sprint Corp. next year. (The Wall Street Journal)
