  • Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine called for postponing the state’s primaries until June, saying that voting this week “cannot conform” with social distancing guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention meant to prevent the spread of coronavirus.   • A trade group representing U.S. airlines called for some $50 billion in federal relief to help the industry to recover from a sharp downturn in travel due to the coronavirus. Airlines for America requested $29 billion in federal grants to be divided up between passenger airlines and cargo carriers, $29 billion in low-interest loans or loan guarantees, and for taxes on fuel, cargo and airline tickets to be suspended through the end of 2021.   • President Donald Trump told a group of governors to try on their own to get respirators needed to treat people with coronavirus rather than waiting for help from the federal government, according to a recording of a conference call. Democratic Govs. Jay Inslee of Washington and Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico reacted with anger to the Trump administration’s slow response to the outbreak, which has left many decisions to be made at the state and local level.
