Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton arrived Thursday on Capitol Hill for a lunch meeting with Senate Democrats. It’s been a good week for Clinton, who on Tuesday captured the endorsement of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), her erstwhile rival and harshest Democratic critic on the campaign trail.
But the former secretary of State has been damaged in recent weeks by the fallout from her use of a private email server while serving in the Obama administration. New Morning Consult polling shows Clinton clinging to a lead that was once comfortable.
