  • Endeavor Group Holdings Inc. acquired World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. in a deal that values the wrestling company at $9.3 billion and will merge the WWE and UFC to form a new publicly traded company of which Endeavor will own a 51% stake, while existing WWE shareholders will have 49% interest. Ari Emanuel will serve as CEO of Endeavor and the new venture, while the WWE’s Vince McMahon will be executive chairman and Endeavor’s Mark Shapiro will act as president and chief operating officer.   • Cineworld Group PLC, parent company of Regal Cinemas, reached an agreement with creditors to get out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which includes a restructuring plan and a backstop agreement, according to a recent filing. Under the pact, lenders would be in charge of 83% of the company’s loans due in 2025 and 2026 and would reduce its debt by $4.53 billion. (Variety)
