Gen Alpha’s Influence Starts Now
According to Morning Consult’s inaugural Gen Alpha report, 56% of Gen Alpha parents said they’ve subscribed to a video streaming service for their children, while 68% of Gen Alpha (ages 0-9) use YouTube, the highest of all entertainment platforms. The research is based on a survey of 2,000 Gen Alpha parents, who were asked questions about their children’s screen time, brand preferences, financial future, healthy habits and travel plans.   • Spotify Technology SA revealed a major redesign of its homepage into a video-focused vertical feed, similar to TikTok, to merge its music, podcasts, audiobook and video offerings into one place as it aims to make it easier for subscribers to find new content.
