A monthslong string of major aviation incidents has soured Americans’ sentiment toward the airline industry, according to new Morning Consult data.

 

Trust in airlines hit its lowest-ever level in our Travel & Hospitality tracker in February, while a separate survey found that a majority (54%) of frequent flyers believe the airline industry needs to be more regulated. Nearly half (48%) of all U.S. adults said the same.
